Diagrams of the crystal structures are presented and followed by discussion of the structural features, making use of data from spectroscopic as well as diffraction experiments.The chemical sections include over 550 analyses from which structural formulae have been calculated, illustrating the range of chemical and paragenetic variation exhibited by each mineral; also the results of P-T experiments, thermochemical and computer modelling techniques. The sections on optical and physical properties include much information gained by electron microscopy and also by deformation studies. The principal modes of occurrence are described in the paragenesis sections emphasizing correlations with chemistry. Jealousy can make you do the craziest things!

I'm actually finding it hard to put into words what I loved about this short, HOT, STEAMY, EROTIC, read. I think what first grabbed me & drew me in was that blurb, I mean those final words "That's why I did the unthinkable..." had me wondering just what happened. So I started this intrigueing read, unsure just what Kandie had instore for me, but not able to stop even if I tried. Next thing I knew it was the end & I was left wondering WHY?? but then I've never been in Vic's possition.

Victoria, Vic for short, marries her highschool sweetheart Caleb, much to his mother's disgust. Shortly after their honeymoon they move to Dublin & escape the inlaws... Whilst her mother in-law is visiting Vic meets Finley for the first time...

As events move forward you see the changes within Vic, her needs, her wants & by being desregarded by Caleb she turns to Fin, then her life truely begins & I was HOOKED. I couldn't put it down. Dark, twisted, hot, steamy, erotic, the chemistry between the characters, then that ending, all of it made for quite a read. Jealousy can make you do the craziest things!

Envy is the dark novella of Victoria Stapley. Victoria is married to her high school sweetheart Caleb. Life is good till it isn't. After a few years the couple move to Dublin, Victoria is introduced to Fin Sheridan. Fin is a businessman/artist that doesn't care if Victoria is married, he goes out of his way to seduce her.

This is one roller coaster of a dark ride. Victoria doesn't apologize for loving two men nor does she try to hide her obsession with Fin. Fin wasn't a normal hero you find in a romance. In fact, thank goodness this is a dark romance because he was a selfish, selfish man. The one relationship that did surprise me is with her mother in law Shar. Shar was such a witch to Victoria from the very beginning but ends up helping her throughout and eventually is the one person who doesn't abandon Victoria.

The ending was very surprising to me. I thought the author ended it perfectly. But when I read the very last sentence I thought Victoria shouldn't have had an affair, she should have ran to the nearest shrink. But all in all I thought it was a good story.

Great story

This was a very interesting book. For the most part I truly enjoyed it. I did however feel it went from one place to a different side completely. And for me not in a too terribly believable or realistic way. There is also a little trouble where the author switches between 1st and 3rd person.
Overall however, I loved the main part of the story and think Ms Stix is a truly talented author. This is a story unlike any I personally have read before. I definitely think I will be reading more rom her. Warning this is NOT a Happily ever after

The writing is easy to understand and highly detailed

Encyclopedic in it's treatment of the watchmaker's lathe and how to use it, it also covers every conceivable accessory ever made for the watchmaker's lathe . The writing is easy to understand and highly detailed; the book is also profusely illustrated . There are a number of books about the watchmaker's lathe. Many of them are quite good. But this book reaches such a level of excellence about the subject that it is entirely in a class of its' own.

Through two engine design projects for a large passenger and a new fighter aircraft, the text explains modern engine design. The civil aircraft, which was the core of the Part 1 of earlier editions, has now been in service for several years as the Airbus A380. Attention in the aircraft industry has now shifted to two-engine aircraft with a greater emphasis on reduction of fuel burn, so the model created for Part 1 is the new efficient aircraft, a twin aimed at high efficiency.

About the Author
Nicholas Cumpsty is a Professor Emeritus at Imperial College London. He conducted his postgraduate research at the University of Cambridge, where he was awarded a PhD for a dissertation entitled 'The Calculation of Three-Dimensional Turbulent Boundary Layers'. He has been a Professor of Aerothermal Technology at the University of Cambridge and a visiting professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Nick has also worked at Rolls Royce Ltd as a Senior Noise Engineer and, more recently, as a Chief Technologist.

Andrew Heyes is Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Head of Department in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. He has previously held positions at the University of Leeds and Imperial College London, where he spent a number of years teaching engine design based on the second edition of Jet Propulsion. Before Imperial, he worked with Rolls-Royce and British Aerospace (Military Aircraft Division, Warton). He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Great Resource

I am not one who enjoys cleaning but I do make measures to live "Green". I was so surprised at when I read "Nontoxic Housecleaning". The recipes are easy and the results are kind of unbelievable. I could not believe a cheaper, easier way to clean would clean better and be less toxic! It is a great resource and well worth the money.

Everyone should have a copy

There are many good, easy tips in this little book. I can't imagine anyone coming away from it without something they would like to do differently. The writing is terrific. It's like having a chat over tea with the author and you can't help but to like her and enjoy her writing style. I ordered several copies for friends and family and they all liked it.
