The writing is easy to understand and highly detailed

Encyclopedic in it's treatment of the watchmaker's lathe and how to use it, it also covers every conceivable accessory ever made for the watchmaker's lathe . The writing is easy to understand and highly detailed; the book is also profusely illustrated . There are a number of books about the watchmaker's lathe. Many of them are quite good. But this book reaches such a level of excellence about the subject that it is entirely in a class of its' own.
