This book was wonderful. Being a widow, the Lord, through this book showed that I am not lonely because He is always with me to lead me, guide me and love me. I plan to read some more of Elisabeth Elliot as I can.

Wisdom beyond words....

Ms. Elliot has been given wonderful wisdom about loneliness. If you are not familiar with her, she has lost 2 husbands. Jim in 1956 to murder and her second husband 20 years later to cancer. She has known a loneliness that some of us cannot fathom. Her words are both straight to the point and yet filled with tenderness and compassion. If you have ever struggled with loneliness or just could really hear how God is working in the lives of those that love Him, GET THIS BOOK. Such a low price for such an unmeasurable about of comfort. But more than that...when you read this book you are brought closer to or depending on the person, introduced to the One who created us and loves us and died for us. You are introduced to the cure for loneliness.

Jenna is just amazing. I love her books. This one is her best one yet. Everyone has hangups about themselves. Something they always wish they could improve. More often than not, these insecurities come into the bedroom with them. When that happens, love-making can get boring, annoying or downright unpleasant. If you use the suggestions in this book, you can turn your lover into exactly what you want him or her to be. There are any number of reasons people have for disliking certain aspects of bedroom activities, but those can be overcome with a few simple suggestions. Just the act of hypnosis itself can be sexy. If you follow the detailed scripts in this book, you'll have the love life you've always wanted with the partner you love. But don't stop there. Think about your own issues and use this book to get rid of them.

The book, 'Erotic Hypnosis' was a concise yet easy to understand guide on how to use hypnosis to change your sex life. It was a breath of fresh air, and not what I expected at all. All of us have probably seen those movies and tv shows when a person is watching a watch or a pendulum swing in front of them, and some nerdy guy is saying in a monotone voice, 'You are getting very sleepy.' This book wasn't like this. This book gave clear easy to follow instructions for exploring hypnosis with your partner. My partner and I both found the idea so exciting that we tried this ourselves. The heat in the bedroom was just explosive, and I think it will change things forever. One of the things I learned in the book was how to work on making your voice more seductive. This book will be a tremendous benefit to anyone who wants to heat things up in the bedroom.

At Least She Had A Ghostwriter This Time

Let me preface this review by saying I can't stand Farrah. I love to hate her.

This book was much better written than her memoir, which really doesn't say much but at least the writing was intelligible this time. It's pretty obvious that Farrah had a ghostwriter or a lot of help. Farrah can hardly form a coherent sentence when she speaks.

The book is an unabashed trip for Farrah's over-sized ego. Farrah, er Fallon, is beautiful. Everyone is jealous of her beautiful face, tan skin, perfectly sculpted body, and in the end, how great she "performs" on camera (I'm not joking!). It's ridiculous. All we really know about Fallon/Farrah is that she's super pretty and awesome, nothing is ever her fault, the media portrays her negatively, and everyone-her friends, family, lovers-uses her. We never really get below the surface of Fallon/Farrah and I suspect this is due to the fact that there's really not much there to Farrah the person. She's superficial, petulant, self-righteous and pretty dumb. She's all appearances and surfaces, there is no depth to her.

Farrah uses this book to vindicate herself in the aftermath of her porno. She trashes everyone: the porn company, her costar, her family and friends. It all turns out in the end that Fallon/Farrah was basically tricked into making the porno by her sketchy agent (who she oddly never met until the porno filming). Kanity, the producer of the porno, is of course just jealous of Fallon/Farrah because Kanity had wanted a career in porn but wasn't good enough. Kanity is jealous of Fallon/Farrah and her ability to "perform" better than any professional porn actress.

Fallon/Farrah's costar is given a similar treatment but at times the way he's written is a bit confusing.Obviously for Farrah this is her revenge at James Deen. She gives him "anal" cancer!

Fallon/Farrah gets sent to rehab at the end of the book. Of course she's immediately told by her therapist that she doesn't need to be there.

Fallon/Farrah made a huge deal about using protection during the filming of the porno. This is interesting since Farrah didn't use protection in her actual porno and proceeded to fake a pregnancy scare for media attention.

I could go on forever about this but I won't. If you love Farrah you'll probably like this book. If you love to hate Farrah, like me, this will be an entertaining diversion. All in all this further cements my belief that Farrah is a petty, shallow person.

For extra laughs, be sure to read the about the author part at the end. Farrah is described as The Top Reality Star and describes the God awful album released with My Teenage Dream Ended as "therapeutic music singles!" Therapeutic? I don't think so!

I admit I just had to see if this girl could do something right for once. Well she can't. This book is pretty much everything you have heard about her in all that gossip rags made into a book. I'm ashamed that the CEO of Ellora's Cave went so far as to write a 4 page excuse in defense of the author, basically saying if we don't like the book it's because we are wrong to have a poor opinion of the author. I'm upset I spent money on this piece of garbage when I should have known better. The main character is a vain, self absorbed, immature girl who thinks that everyone either wants her or wants to be her. Don't waste you time.

One look at the cover tells you that Juliet "Aunt Peg" Anderson was a physically beautiful woman. She was also a pornography star who preached the importance of sexuality and attempted to walk that talk in her own life. Because the author looks unflinchingly at the ways Juliet failed as well as her successes, this biography provides much food for thought. The porn business comes in for its share of attention as well as the support and non-support of various people in Juliet's life. There are many important cautionary tales. What makes Juliet stand-out from so many other sex legends, is that she had both style and grace, she knew how to tease, and she really enjoyed the sex for the most part. It was creative, and it was fun, an escape from personal physical and mental pain. Whether on film, video or on a live stage, Juliet knew how to seduce both men and women. This is a great book--it gives one a picture of both the "Golden Age" of porn and a detailed biography of a fascinating women that is revelatory and very moving. Juliet Anderson emerges as a complex figure, who on the one hand experienced a number of painful events, but who also viewed the world in a very life-affirming manner. It is thoroughly researched, well written, and a pleasure to read. Anyone interested in the history of the porn industry and/or the story of an interesting figure will find this book genuinely rewarding.
