I have read one of the books in this collection and really enjoyed it.

His Defiant Desert Queen (The Disgraced Copelands)

I didn’t want this book to end. This is a story that captures you from the start and stays strong all the way to the very last words.

When Jemma Copeland is caught breaking Saidia’s laws, she is to face one of two punishments. One would be seven years imprisonment. The other is to marry Sheikh Mikael. She has no choice in which one it will be. Marriage is chosen as her punishment. Jemma refuses to accept it and claims she will never love him. If she can make it through the first eight days, Mikael says he will let her go back to London if she still wishes to do so. But once the honeymoon starts, Jemma is quickly second guessing how she originally felt. She is falling in love.

Beautiful descriptions of the scenery, great characters and plot make this a must read for any romance fan.

St. John was a Church father back when Christianity did not have the numerous divisions that is seen today, and hence reading this book takes you back to that era. Yay

Omg yay their back together their back together yay for Cayson and Skye. I can't believe what Clementine does for a living and Ward of all people caught her. I hope they work out. I still want Silke with Arsen and Beatrice is going to freak when Skye finds out Theo talks to her dad. I don't know why he still does he's going to lose her forever for it. I'm happy Roland got the job and I so guessed he was gay.

great series !

Its so nice to have a 'go-to' series, having been in a funk for a few days.

This was a lot calmer than the last couple of installments.

So so pleased Cayson finally pulled his head out of his ass, I was getting Whiplash! Shame it took a bad case of jealousy but it did the job, and I was glad that Ward is such a gentleman - but then of course he is! He is British after all - not biased at all!!

Really felt for Skye, when she thought she had really lost Cayson, I too would have thrown myself at someone who showed me the slightest bit of kindness.

Pleased for Slade, work seems to be going in the right direction, and Ryan getting a matching Tattoo, such a lovely supportive thing to do, and with Slade too! Don't you just love Trinity, she just knows how to handle Slade, makes me chuckle everything.

Not much of Silke this time, but I feel she is biding her time.

I'm in two minds bout Thomas, he is a gentleman, so sweet at work, but seems to have a huge chip on his shoulder where his family is concerned, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Conrad and Beatrice are doing Ok, although I think his friendship with her father is going to cause trouble, hope its not going to be too hard on them.

Loving Theo and Alex, settling in nicely.

Hmm Roland, I wasn't expecting that, he is going to have a hard time coming to terms with that revelation. I hope he can get past the prejudice and hopefully settles down, apart from Silke he is the only one not settled.

Well until we get to meet Clementine a bit more, she certainly makes an entrance. She has her Mom's traits, exotically beautiful, independent and hot headed, then throw Ward , that ever so sexy Brit into her world and wow! what a shake up!

Developments Galore

Skye; I don’t want to sound like a broken record because pretty sure by now people know how I feel when it comes to her and Cayson. I’m in the minority so this bit I did kind of skip because it just fell flat for me. I’m in love with the series, but the back and forth actions is grating on my nerves now, if they’re going to be together, then fine be together but seriously stop going back and forth. I know Cayson isn’t perfect but I truly believe that this situation is Skye’s own doing and she needs to accept that, stop justifying it and just do your best to move on.

Sean; he has Cayson’s best interests at heart, I can see that, I can feel his frustration at how it is all going but at the same time I don’t know if he’s the right person to step in and attempt to sort this out once and for all. I think his words did have an impact on Cayson. I may be team Cayson but ultimately he deserves to be happy and if Skye is his happy place then I can get on board with that.

Roland; yay! I’m so glad that we get to see more of him and Heath, it seems like the dynamic of the group is changing but that isn’t In my eyes such a bad thing. It feels like a welcome change in my opinion. I hope it goes the way I want, and that it continues to blossom. I’m so excited to see where these two lead.

Conrad; I don’t want to spoil this and tell you what the favour was but I’m glad that we get to see more of him and his father, he isn’t a firm favourite of mine but at the same time, he is an interesting character and I want to see more of him.

The fabrication methodologies are explained in great detail and represented in flowcharts for easy reference and understanding. This monograph gives readers a new perspective on composite fabrication using methods other than the traditional ones and explores the endless ways of altering the composition to modify the properties of the silica aerogel composites. Applications for this novel composite are diverse and range from those in the pharmaceutical and aerospace industries to the oil and gas industries.

About the Author
Dr. Sunil C. Joshi received his Ph.D. degree from Monash University (Australia) for his work on composites manufacturing processes. Prior to that he worked as Scientist at National Aerospace laboratories, Bangalore, India, where he was part of the composite structures group from 1988 to 1994 after completing his M. Tech in Aeronautical Engineering with aircraft structures specialization.
He has been a faculty in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, since 2000, currently serving under Aerospace Engineering cluster with Materials and Structures as the focus area.
His research interests encompass aerogel composites, nano-engineered composites, microwave curing, manufacturing of thick composites, damages in braided and filament wound composites, and hygrothermal effects on composites. He looks into applications of composites for impact resistance, thermal insulation, and acoustic damping.
He is an area editor for an Elsevier Journal and serves as reviewer for a number of international journals. He has more than 120 international journal and conference papers, 1 book, 1 applied patent and 5 book chapters to his publication list.

Mahesh Sachithanadam received his Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Newcastle, Australia, in 2010, with Class 1 Honors. He worked previously as a Military Expert (Engineer) in the Republic of Singapore Armed Forces (RSAF). He is currently pursuing PhD on aerogel composites under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Sunil Chandrakant Joshi from the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Mahesh has been working on aerogel composites for his PhD and has presented his work on “A New Phenomenon of Compressive Strain Recovery in Gelatin-silica Aerogel Composites with SDS”, “Brittle to Ductile Transitions in Silica Aerogel Behaviour with Post Synthesis Binding Treatment” and “High strain recovery with improved mechanical properties of gelatin–silica aerogel composites post-binding treatment” at various forums. Mahesh also coauthored a pending patent titled “Compressibility, Strain Recovery and Hydrophobicity in Silica Aerogel Composites” (TD/181/13) with his supervisor. Currently he is compiling his thesis.

About the Author
Alex Dugdale was until recently Head of Division of Veterinary Anaesthesia at the University of Liverpool, UK, and is currently studying for a PhD. She holds the RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and the ECVAA Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia, as well as the PGCert (Learning and Teaching in Higher Education). She has over 10 years’ experience of teaching veterinary anaesthesia.

Great book for a veterinary student. Has indepth info about drugs, breathing circuits and pain. I use it frequently for my surgery/anesthesia rotation.

DON'T BUY THIS BOOK FROM "Print Books USA"

I very recently bought a similar book from "Print Books USA." They clearly give you the impression that they are a USA based company, but when the book is shipped to you it arrives from New Delhi, India (that should tell you something right there). When I first saw that I had a package arriving from Fedex Express, New Delhi, I was a bit nonplussed. But, I quickly determined it was the book.

When the package arrived, it was clean and undamaged. No bends, creases or marks on the package itself. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw this because I am so used to getting beaten up books from the USPS through Amazon, where you can immediately tell from the package the book is a goner.

To be clear, I bought the book as a new book, paid the new book price, just as this one. When I opened the package, the book was covered in dirt and grime. Black dirt. It had a massive crease, not just on the cover, but one that penetrated EVERY single page in the book, along the vertical axis of the book. As if someone had stuck it in a vise and clamped it good. Every page in the book was creased, not just in one spot, but perhaps 10 or 20 spots on each page, suggesting that it had been someone's school textbook. It had been well-read. Over and over. Dirt on the inside pages. ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT THAT IT WAS A HIGHLY USED BOOK.

I contacted the seller and he offered a refund. It never appeared. I told the seller the same spiel, but he still insisted that it was delivery damage. Not possible. Physically impossible. If the package is unblemished, then the only way to damage the book without damaging the package is if you happen to know the "Five Fingers of Death Kung Fu Technique," and you use it on the book.

I cannot say that my story is being repeated in all of their bookselling, but if you receive an obvious used book and the seller obviously tries to cover it up and lies about it, then I don't think that bodes well for their business ethos. They have the appearance of someone that is selling used books for new. I have told Amazon about this, but they have done nothing. You can hardly blame a multibillion megacompany like Amazon for not bothering with swatting gnats like this. So, I leave it to you good people to help with the swatting.
